Meet The Glow Doc

The Glow Clinic Founder and CEO, Marie Therese Singson Harris, MD aka “The Glow Doc” started her education at the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated early in 3 years. While at UCLA, she studied abroad in Spain. She then attended the UCLA affiliated, Charles R Drew Pre-Medical Post- Baccalaureate Biomedical Sciences program. After organizing several outreach programs and medical missions in Mexico and studying in the Philippines while working at a charity hospital, she became passionate about medical mission trips. In addition, Dr Marie Therese Singson Harris has conducted research in dermatology at University of Colorado, Denver, Anschutz Medical Campus during her clerkship rotations, before being accepted into Harvard Medical School Sub-Internship program in surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. During her time at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Marie Therese Singson Harris was published in the National Library of Medicine for surgical pediatric research. Dr Marie Therese Singson Harris is currently a plastic surgery and aesthetic research fellow for the Cell Tissue Engineering Department at University of California, Irvine (UCI) Health. Dr Marie Therese Singson Harris founded Filipinos in Medicine, to inspire others and create a network of medical students who have a strong desire to serve people in need. She also released a make-up brush line called Glow Doc Cosmetics, LLC.

In her off time, Dr. Marie Therese Singson Harris enjoys working out, playing in her adult volleyball league, yoga, training and running half marathons with her husband, spending time with family and friends and playing Scrabble! She is also a fashion and beauty enthusiast. She also loves her faith in Christ and volunteers at her local Catholic church as a lector.
